Casa de Tepa is located right on the famous Camino de Santiago pilgrimage footpath, within the walled town of Astorga and not far from the Roman baths, halfway between the Plaza Mayor and the Cathedral. You have an opportunity to see architecture from 2000 years ago –the sobriety of Roman walls as well as the Modern-style Palacio Episcopal designed by Gaudí, the Gothic Cathedral, Roman ruins such as thermae, Ergástula, domus, etc. There is also many museums close to Casa de Tepa such as the chocolate museum, the Cathedral museum, the pilgrimage museum… And not far from Astorga you will find the ancient gold mines called Médulas, the small towns of the Maragatería region (Castrillo de los Polvazares, Santiagomillas, etc), León…
